Two-node Proxmox cluster
Migrated from an outdated ESXi environment to a two-node Proxmox cluster running on Dell R720 and R730 servers. Configured disk controllers to IT mode for ZFS compatibility, enabled nested virtualisation for dev environments, and set up shared storage with TrueNAS Scale.
10G LAN upgrade
Upgraded from 1GbE to 10GbE by replacing quad 1G NICs with dual 1G/dual 10G NICs. Built a new core switch topology with 4 SFP+ ports, connected a Netgear switch (RJ45 + 2 SFP+) to the core, and wired both servers via RJ45 to the Netgear for full 10G connectivity.
Storage migration
Currently migrating from Synology to TrueNAS Scale for full ZFS flexibility, better integration with the Proxmox cluster, and the ability to manage storage through the same AI-augmented workflows used across the rest of the infrastructure.
Local AI on Nvidia GB10
Running llama.cpp for local LLM inference on Nvidia GB10 hardware. All AI agents, code generation, and automation run on-premise — no cloud dependencies, no data leaving the infrastructure, no API costs. This is the foundation of our AI-Augmented Infrastructure approach.
